When is the conference taking place?
The Bi+ World Conference will be held on 28, 29 and 30 July 2026. We recommend arriving to Amsterdam on Monday 27 July and leaving Amsterdam on Friday 31 July, or staying for the Canal Parade on Saturday 1 August.
Where is the conference taking place?
The Bi+ World Conference will be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The conference will take place at a secure location, which will not be announced publicly but will only be shared with registered participants later.Â
What is the conference program?
The conference program will be shared at a later date. The three-day event will include panels, workshops, and other activities in and outside of the conference venue in the city of Amsterdam.
Can I host a session during the conference?

What are the conference costs?
The conference costs depend on whether the attendee chooses to stay at the conference hotel and their room type. Rates without accommodation are €200 per person.
A single room in the hotel is €600 per person. A shared twin room is €350 per person. This includes breakfast and lunch during the conference and attending the conference program. Dinners are not included.
Am I eligable for a scholarship?
There are no eligibility rules for applying for a scholarship. Due to a limited budget, we are, however, unable to provide scholarships to all participants. We therefore ask participants to look for alternative resources and/or financial support from your organisation. The conference team will review all scholarship applications and will get back to you 31 March at the latest. All information about scholarships can be found here.
Who are the conference organisers?
Bi+ Nederland is working together with Bi+ Equal to host the Bi+ World Conference. Bi+ Nederland is the Dutch equality organisation for bi+ people and bi+ inclusion. Bi+ Equal is the pan-European bi+ umbrella organisation, founded in 2025. Read more about the team here.
What is World Pride?
World Pride is the international LGBTQIA+ Pride event that is held every two years in a different country and city. Last World Pride was held in Washington D.C. and in 2026 Amsterdam will be the host. During World Pride there will be a two-week program with parties, community gatherings, conferences, marches and of course the Canal Parade. The Bi+ World Conference will also be held during World Pride.
Will the conference be recorded or live-streamed?
It is still to be determined whether the conference will be hybrid. More information will follow.
What is the official language of the conference?
The official language of the conference is English. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide translation or interpretation services due to limited resources.
Is the conference wheelchair accessible?
Yes the conference hotel is wheelchair accessible. All conference spaces and facilities are located on the ground floor and there are multiple accessible rooms available in the conference hotel.
When can I check into the hotel?
Check-in at the conference hotel will be possible on Monday 27 July in the afternoon. Attendees will receive detailed information from the conference team about their stay in the conference hotel, if they have chosen to stay there.
Do I have to share a room?
Attendees have the option to share a room at the conference hotel, have their own room at the conference hotel, or arrange their own accommodation elsewhere. Attendees receiving a scholarship will be sharing a room in the conference hotel or in a hotel 1 kilometer away. Shared rooms will have separate beds and attendees will have the chance to voice roommate preferences.
How do I get to the conference venue and around in the city?
Attendees will receive detailed information about their arrival in Amsterdam and how to best get to the conference venue. From Schiphol Airport to the conference hotel is about a 20 to 40-minute ride, both by car and by public transport.
To get around the city, you can get a taxi (with blue license plates) or use Bolt or Uber. Please note that Amsterdam is a busy city with infrastructure mostly built around bikes and public transport, so getting around the city by car may take a while. You can get around Amsterdam easily by taking one of the trains, buses, metros or trams.
What is the local currency?
The official currency in the Netherlands is the Euro. There is an ATM walking distance from the conference venue. Note, some places like small stores or cafés might not accept a creditcard, while others may not accept cash.
Are there any dress code expectations?
There is no dress code for attending the Bi+ World Conference. We believe it is important that everyone can be themselves and dress as they wish.
